Whether you are staying here for a weekend wedding, an anniversary get-away, an antique shopping trip, or a private escape from the constant hustle, we want you to experience refreshment. If you are coming here for a class, it is our goal to impart a message of wholeness and optimal health through the workshops we are offering.

The owners, Rich and Dianne, have spent their lives together growing in faith, discovering principles of holistic health, remodeling houses, and developing skills to build and create “home”. After graduating from West Point, Rich served in the military as a Foreign Area Officer in the Netherlands. He entered the civilian sector in management positions, eventually discovering his strongest area of interest in the healthcare industry. While Dianne was a stay-at-home, she pursued her areas of interest and passion: bread, health, mathematics, and teaching.

Conveniently located to some of the greatest Texas places, Gathering Grains Farm is found just outside of the quaint town of Brenham. Our 10-acre tree-pastured property is just 7 minutes to downtown, 10 minutes to the Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory, 15 minutes to Washington (the birthplace of the great state of Texas), 25 minutes to Round Top (home of the greatest antique market in Texas), 60 minutes to Houston, and 90 minutes to Austin. We are surrounded by pastures with grazing cattle.
